As part of the "Home of the enthusiast" theme, the Barber family of dealerships supports our customers learning more, and enjoying more with their cars. Some of our customers share a passion for cars, and their performance abilities. We firmly believe and share the belief that skillful and enthusiastic driving is a part of this experience.
To increase the value of the purchase, we offer "The Barber Driving Experience". Part performance driver training, part open track testing, but mostly a very entertaining time that is not offered by any of our competitors.

About our hosts/instructors

"Graduate of several road racing schools including the 4 day Bob Bondurant Grand prix school and the Jim Hall 2 day Kart racing school. Formula Ford experience has assisted several teams in testing sedans. NASA and SCCA member, Allan is the SVT Commercial account manager at Barber Ford Ventura. He is also a director for SVTOA Southern California. He can generally be seen in a gutted 1988 Mustang coupe."

Craig
Dabbs - Bob Bondurant instructor, and a veteran of motor sport competition since
age 8; Craig has competed in AMA motorcycle competition in Pro 750cc and
Formula Extreme. Craig brings excellent ability to explain fundamentals, and
backs it up as a force in open track events in a supercharged Honda. He is
always quick no matter the conditions, wet or dry, and has the knowledge to set

Alvin Tolosa - With a background in competitive cycling, triathlons, and collegiate running, Alvin combines his sports background, Volkswagen sales knowledge, and over 14 years knowledge as a product designer to the Barber Driving Experience. Fastest R32 at the VW "Dub Wars" autocross, Alvin's style is smooth and does not overdrive the car. He also is very active in the VW Audi message boards and has produced some very nice track videos

To please take the performance driving to the track, it's safer, legal, and supervised. We take you and your car to our heart.
We are available upon request and schedule to assist owners and driving enthusiasts in testing and tuning their cars. We believe however that the best modification to any car takes place behind the driving wheel. See you at the track!

www.redlinetrackevents.com - This group has grown with us and provides a friendly environment for a wide variety of cars. We have seen 120hp cars and 700hp monsters on the track at the same time. Some times the low hp car is quicker!
This group is expanding their operations to time trials, and other Brand competitions. Keep them in mind for your club. They have open minds, open ears, and run all over the country.
www.opentrackracing.com - We have run with this group several times during 2005. Always at Willow Springs International midweek, this group has developed a loyal following of experience drivers at that track. Expect some drivers in the advanced group to break the 1:30 second barrier. They also offer 2 other levels and have tons of track time. Safety driven, yet very casual. Lunch included.
